Madagascar Black Pepper

Black pepper is grown on the east coast of Madagascar in the Mahanoro and Nosy Varika regions. The pepper seeds grow in clusters, which are harvested twice a year when they reach maturity.

The grains are then dried in the sun for several days, until the outer shells take on a beautiful black color. They are then sorted and graded.
